Beatty Harris Sports Medicine was founded out of a desire to provide high quality, comprehensive, patient-focused care for active individuals of all ages and abilities. As former athletes ourselves, we know how disruptive acute and chronic injuries can be, as well as the activity limitations that nagging aches and pains can cause. We know how important it is to feel better quickly and return to your desired level of activity. Tricia Beatty

Tricia Beatty, DO, a native of Broomall, Pennsylvania, is a Board Certified Sports Medicine Physician with over 12 years of experience in her field.
She obtained her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine training at the Bryn Mawr Hospital and her Sports Medicine training at the Crozer Keystone Health System.
Dr. Beatty has been the team physician for the Philadelphia Union, the University of Delaware, Saint Joseph’s University, The Agnes Irwin School, Radnor High School and Ridley High School. She has also practiced as a US Naval Flight Surgeon, with the VT-28 Rangers, Training Air Wing Four, Corpus Christi, Texas.
She is a former competitive Gymnast and Division 1 NCAA Diver. She currently enjoys long distance running, high intensity interval training and yoga.
She lives in Narberth with her husband and 5 children and their German Shepherd, Lucy.

Allen Harris

Allen Harris, DO, a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania is a Board-Certified Sports Medicine Physician and completed his residency and fellowship at Crozer Keystone Health System.
​
He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine after obtaining a degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University.
​
He has been the team physician for the Philadelphia Union, Bethlehem Steel, University of Delaware athletics, Marple Newtown High School and Interboro High School.
​
Dr. Harris is a former Division I gymnast and National Champion. He also served as team captain of Penn State’s men’s gymnastics team.
​
He remains highly active lifting weights, biking, hiking and kayaking. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife Lexi, their son Jude, and their yellow lab Quigley.

Amber MacFarlane

Amber MacFarlane, DO, a native of Southampton, Pennsylvania is a Board-Certified Sports Medicine Physician and completed her residency and fellowship at Crozer Health.
She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine after obtaining a degree in Biology from Widener University.
She has been the team physician for the Philadelphia Union, Philadelphia Union 2, University of Delaware, Garnet Valley High School, Strath Haven High School, and Upper Darby High School.
Dr. MacFarlane is a former Division III NCAA pole-vaulter. She continues to be very active in weight lifting, running, and hiking. She lives in Bucks County, PA, with her husband.
Desirae Urban
PT, DPT

Desirae has over ten years of experience treating acute sports injuries and chronic orthopedic conditions using a personalized, one-on-one approach. A native of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, she specializes in the treatment of chronic overuse tendon injury with an expertise in manual therapy and Graston technique.
​
A former team captain for the University of Pennsylvania Women’s Gymnastics Team (Division I NCAA), she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her doctorate of physical therapy from Arcadia University in 2009.
​
She also has certifications in selective functional movement screen, vestibular rehabilitation, and LVST BIG therapy for Parkinson’s disease and related disorders.
​
Ultimately, Desirae has a deep passion for using hands-on techniques to help her patients achieve their goals and live more healthy lifestyles.
​
When she's not in the office supporting patients, you can find her spending time with her husband Joe; her kids Chase, Parker, and Delaney; and their dog, River.
Corey Baldwin
PT, DPT

Corey Baldwin PT, DPT, is a native of Reading, Pennsylvania.
He earned his doctorate of physical therapy and a bachelor's degree in Health Science from Lebanon Valley college after receiving a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Shippensburg University.
Corey has been treating patients for over five years with manual therapy as a major component of his treatment philosophy. He is passionate about helping others return to pain-free lifestyles using hands-on techniques.
His specialty areas include but are not limited to neck and low back pain, overuse injuries, sports rehabilitation, vestibular/concussion rehabilitation and post-operative rehabilitation.
He currently lives in Bala Cynwyd and spends most of his free time active in the gym or fishing.
Other interests include spending time with friends and family, going out to restaurants and catching a movie.
Jennifer Skaling

Jennifer is a native of Canada and a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

She has over 25 years of experience in the treatment of acute and chronic orthopedic and sports injuries using a personalized approach including manual therapy techniques and individualized exercise programs.
​
As a former college and elite level rower, as well as triathlete, Jennifer has a special interest in the treatment of endurance sports athletes, but is passionate about helping patients of all ages safely return to the activities they enjoy.
​
Her current certifications include: Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Functional Movement Screen.
​
When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys rowing, running, Pilates, hiking with her dog Phoebe and spending time with her husband and son, Alex and Christian.
Erik Caplan
PT, DPT, CSCS

Erik is a native of Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
​
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from West Chester University he went on to complete his doctorate in physical therapy at Lebanon Valley College.
Erik's background is in general orthopedics and sports medicine, as well as strength and conditioning, sports performance, and personal training. He is an NSCA-certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has trained individuals ranging from weekend warriors to elite athletes. These experiences have helped to shape his clinical practice and approach to helping people reach their goals.
​
His clinical interests include injuries and conditions of the hip, knee, and ankle, especially tendon pathology. He enjoys tailoring treatment plans to the needs of each individual and believes that education and effective communication are critical components of the rehabilitation process.
​
In his free time, Erik enjoys strength training, running, hiking, cooking, and playing guitar.
